Go. Do. Be. Love.

February 14, 2017 By: Heather

“Even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth, ‘You owe me.’ Look what happens with a love like that. It lights up the whole sky.” ~ Hafiz

There’s a lot that’s said about Valentine’s Day. And much of it is not good. Inevitably, it seems people are bitter, hurt, swooning or indifferent about this day. But what if we looked at this day differently?

Instead of going into this day with hopes and expectations of what others will give to you, go into it with the intent of showing up as love. Everywhere. Go. Do. Be LOVE.

Smile. Hug. Shower your people with love. Strangers too. Why not?

Today and every day, live and love out loud.

Because deep down, no matter how hard the exterior. No matter how tall the wall. No matter how thick the armor. Each one of us just wants to be loved for WHO we are. Not for who others think we could be. Each one of us wants to be seen and heard and know we matter.

So today, show up. And love your people, as they are. Be present. Look intently into their eyes. Smile at them. And tell them you see them. You love them. As they are. ♥️

Smiling breeds smiling. Kindness breeds kindness. Love breeds love.

Go. Do. Be. Love. And know, you’ll have made a difference in their day, and in turn, yours.

Valentine's Day
