New Year’s: The end of an old year, the beginning of a new. A time for recaps and resolutions, lists and liquor. Right? Okay, we don’t do resolutions around here…and sadly, we never made it to the liquor cabinet for even one drink last night…BUT we did get to the recap and lists!
Here’s the thing. I think we all look forward to an opportunity to start anew. To theoretically erase and learn from our mistakes and make promises to do better. The New Year is a perfect time for that, right? A fresh start, a blank canvas.
As we transition to the new year, we often take heed in reflecting and recapping our last year. Making the proverbial lists of the good and the bad, the happy and the sad.
So in keeping with social media traditions of lists upon lists for the year, I decided to take a crack at creating my own. DISCLAIMER: Please note, these are not all inclusive lists…nor are they in any kind of order. Most certainly, I’ll reread this after publishing and hit myself for forgetting something or many things.
